About Us

Camp Adventures, LLC is locally owned by Doug and Felicia Stephens. Doug and Felicia have been married for 16 years, and have 4 amazing children, ages 5 to 15. As working parents, Doug and Felicia started Camp Adventures out of a personal need to see their own children thrive not only during school, but also after school and during the summer! Camp Adventures gives working parents of school age children peace of mind, knowing that their child(ren) will have a safe, fun, loving, and family oriented care experience, YEAR ROUND! Based on wholesome values and personal standards, Doug and Felicia invite you to experience Camp Adventures! Adventure Awaits!

Director:

Mrs. Jo’Naye Nixon is our director; she has worked in childcare with children ages 6 weeks to 14 for over 10 years! Teaching has been her passion since she was a young girl. Her goal is to gain a personal connection with each child; she will ensure that Camp Adventures is a home away from home for each camper!

Staff:

Camp Adventures’ staff is made up of certified teachers, parents, and college students pursuing child related fields. Our staff is chosen based on their heart and passion to work with children, and go through a thorough orientation to prepare for our daily adventures! Staff members are ages 18 and over, and undergo a background check. Collectively, the staff at Camp Adventures has 20 years of childcare/teaching experience!
